Mission Statement
The high quality of our staff being of both medical and technical origin, allow us to undertake, in a very professional manner many types of operations not undertaken by other companies in the U.K.
We consider that we are not working for ourselves, but as ambassadors of the company, organisation or individual requiring our assistance.
We are used by most major Assistance Companies based in the U.K. and by most of the private hospitals in the South East, as well as some of the Assistance Companies based abroad. This could not have been achieved unless we could perform, and, on most occasions surpass the high standard required by most operators and medical establishments.
We are able to design particular operating systems to suit the sometimes-unusual operational requirements of individuals or organizations.
We are a well-established, compact; tightly structured company with the resources to embrace further growth as required.
Code of Conduct
The philosophy of Medicar European is to "put the patient first". Therefore, Medicar European will perform their duties professionally and confidentially, in accordance with nationally agreed Patient Treatment Guidelines and with authorization of the Company Medical Officer.
Any deviation from these protocols must have specified permission from the Assistant Company's Doctor or the Medical Officer advising Ambulance transfer.
Medicar European employees or any person acting on behalf of Medicar European cannot and will not be held responsible for any actions or instructions given by any person outside of Medicar European. Any instruction given by a foreign or UK doctor is the responsibility of that doctor until instructed or superseded by another doctor.
All drugs listed and their protocols are for patients in transit who deteriorate whilst in transit. The dosages administered are listed only whilst the patient is en route following medical intervention to the nearest A&E.
For any patient in transit that requires continuous drug therapy the dosage that Medicar European staff may be required to administer must be accompanied by written instruction from the releasing Hospital/Doctor or from authorized medical Staff giving instruction.
